Flu Clinics 2018

Flu season officially starts in December so the best way to protect yourself from flu virus is by having a FREE flu vaccination here at your surgery, where we hold your medical history and have fully trained nurses and doctors vaccinating. With this in mind all our clinics run between September and November.  If you miss the clinics and we still have stock we will be happy to vaccinate later in the season.  Flu vaccination is only available on the NHS to patients considered at risk or over the age of 65. it is possible for patients who wish to be vaccinated but do not fall into these groups to be vaccinated by speaking to local pharmacist.

Patients considered at risk include, Diabetics, immunosuppressed patients, asthmatics, pregnant women, long term carers, health care professionals, patients in long term residential care, chronic kidney disease, COPD, heart failure.
